Our Process:
- First and foremost, we listen. Then we listen harder; to understand your needs and requirements;
- We have regular face to face meetings throughout the process to ensure excellent ongoing communication and a great building outcome;
- We offer professional advice on construction budget and affordability options and have clear, benchmarked professional fees;
- Our process includes tools that will help you visualise your end design. These include 3D plans, elevations, walk-throughs, and site/project examples;
- We examine which resources are important to your lifestyle. By analysing the life cycle of various materials, we help you identify the priorities for your building - whether it be visual importance, green house gas emission, your health (toxicity), embodied energy used to fabricate, recyclability, or simply budget driven - you can identify which elements in order are important to you;
- We are experienced in problem solving to achieve positive outcomes to design and ecological challenges;
- We use knowledge and ideas gained from our experience - our own homes are sustainable to the highest degree and we have designed and project managed many other fully-sustainable and beautiful homes, most notably in Currumbin Ecovillage which won the FIABCCI award in 2010 as the world’s best residential eco-development.
